Asia Minor Productions’ Executive Producer Kevin M. Sullivan has two decades of experience producing television commercials, documentaries and feature films in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Kevin capitalizes on his western production experience and strong understanding of the cultures, looks and idiosyncrasies of many different cultures, particularly the Islamic world and former Soviet satellite countries.
Kevin started his production career in post-communist Poland, coordinating features and commercials for the country's first private production company. Upon returning to the USA, he worked as an Assistant Director and Production Manager in Hollywood. As Head of Production for Food Chain Films in Portland, Oregon, he managed a team of nationally-recognized directors while building the company into one of the most successful production companies in the Pacific Northwest. Clients included Adidas, Nike, Burger King and Columbia Sportswear. Most recently, he managed a production company that served Fortune 500 companies such as BP and Total in Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
His work has been recognized at Cannes and the Sundance Film Festival and he is frequently asked to speak publicly about the challenges and opportunities associated with filming abroad.
From 2003 to 2004, he traveled the world researching the capabilities of production companies in Asia, Europe and Africa. This project gave him an unmatched knowledge base of capacity, locations and contacts of production service companies throughout the globe, from China and Nepal to Kenya and South Africa.
